Last week me and my boyfriend went to Rome for the first time in our lives. We’ve both been to Italy before but we’d never spent even a second in Rome, so we were pretty excited. The trip was planned about 9 months ago when my all-time favourite artist announced his then upcoming summer tour and tickets got sold out pretty quickly.
It won’t be an exaggeration if I say this has been my most loved trip by now. It was filled with great music, amazing food, warm weather, unforgettable moments and photos to remind me of this great time. I’m sharing with you some of them today and I hope you’ll like them. Have a great Sunday!
Several days ago me and my boyfriend got back from London after his surprise for me. It was actually a bit longer than a weekend trip but since we decided to avoid the touristic part this time and to simply enjoy food and shopping, the camera remained in the hotel for most of the trip.
The only time we were proper tourists was at the Greenwich Meridian.
We tried to go to several markets but they were never open and at the few that we visited, I was ‘welcomed’ with ”No photos, please!”.
This was the first time we were in London without being at a football game but considering the relatively low temperatures, the warm pub atmosphere seemed more tempting.
If the rainy Norwegian weather allows me to take decent photos, I’ll be soon preparing beauty haul posts but for now, here are some of the trip photos:
Have you seen my latest post in which I told you me and my boyfriend had a deal not to do anything special for Valentine’s day? Well, he broke the deal. He surprised me with a short trip to London because we both really missed the city and we really needed a weekend getaway.
And because it’s a short trip, I decided to bring my minis, so that I have more space in my suitcase (Gotta buy beauty products here!). It’s like paradise for beauty lovers here, even the magazines come with amazing freebies. Hopefully there will be a haul post soon, fingers crossed.
I may have had a couple glasses of wine last night but while I’m munching delicious doughnuts, here are the mini sized products that I have along with me:
– Benefit Roller Lash Mascara that I got with ELLE UK after we landed;
– LUSH Sexy Peel Soap because it gives a slight exfoliation;
– La Prairie Advanced Marine Biology Tonic which is my toner during this trip;
– Mirins Copenhagen Facial Serum* – I started using this product several days ago and will report later but so far, I’m enjoying it;
– REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask;
– Burts’ Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream (it’s indeed the mini version of it);
– Versace Bright Crystal perfume, body wash and body lotion – I simply love them, their scent lingers even on the next day;
In June I posted some pictures from different trips that me and my boyfriend took around Norway. This time I’m showing you only one place because it’s magical! If you ever come to Norway, be sure to visit the Geirangerfjorden.
I live in Norway and we’re not lucky to always have the sun shining, blue sky and more than +10C, so whenever we have a warm weekend, me and my boyfriend are trying to spend it out roadtripping. Here are some of the photos that I’ve taken during our weekend trips that hopefully will inspire you to go somewhere out in nature, breathe fresh air and enjoy life! :-)
