Are you stocking up on your favourite products? Or at least having an extra bottle or tube of an important beauty item?
There are just a few things that I simply can’t have only one of. I’m a little bit scared that I can run out of them and see myself helplessly trying to find a replacement for the moment. As you can see, they are mostly skincare items.
I’ve mentioned too many times that my favourite moisturiser is the Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Hydrating Care because it’s perfect for my combination skin and even if I’m trying another day cream, I always like to have this one around me. It wouldn’t have been a mistake if I included the night cream from the same range in this post. The night moisturiser can’t be found in Norway at all which is even more problematic for me.
Micellar waters have a steady place in our routines nowadays. They remove makeup quickly and can be a really good help in the first step of our skincare rituals. The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is an affordable product, comes in a big bottle of 400 ml and does a great job in removing even more stubborn lipstick or mascara. Another one of my favourite micellar waters is the Eucerin DermatoCLEAN 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Fluid which can be used as a facial cleanser, eye makeup remover and toner. Usually I take off my makeup, wash my face with a face wash, then use this cleansing fluid to remove what’s left and continue with a second toner. It’s a really gentle cleansing water, it’s perfume-free and it’s suitable for contact lenses wearers like me.
La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar Duo[+] is famous enough but in a few words it’s a great little thing to help unclog pores, fight against marks and reduce imperfections on oily/combination skin. It’s one of my skincare staples and I try to have an extra tube of it all the time.
If you’ve seen this post, you already know how much I love the Lilly Oil-based nail polish remover. It’s probably one of the best nail polish removers out there but it’s unfortunately available in only one drugstore in just several countries. I can’t recommend this product enough, if you have the chance to try it, don’t hesitate!
Last but not least is a product that years ago I haven’t thought I’d use. I just never seemed to know the benefits of applying something like this. Now, I love it so much and I’m trying to always have another tin of it although a little goes a long way. It’s the Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream and I apply it on bare or polished nails, day or night. It’s not only good for your cuticles but for your nails as well. If you haven’t tried it, please correct this and get this little gem, you won’t be disappointed!
