My 5 Products Face

Happy Sunday! Whether you don’t want to spend too much time getting ready on your weekend or you’re simply a minimal make-up lover, I hope you will find the next lines helpful.

There are days, like today, when I still want to look a bit more healthy but with less make-up on my face and I realised that it’s actually not so hard. I can skip a few steps like blush, for example because I have natural redness on my cheeks and I’d still look presentable.

For an even complexion, I like to use the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream because it has a higher coverage than a CC cream but still shows skin and looks natural. It gives me a luminous finish but without being too dewy on my combination skin. It’s important for me, as I have to skip the powder step, if I want to use a concealer.
Concealer is an essential for me, I have very dark circles under my eyes and even a higher coverage base can’t help in this case, so I always rely on my Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. It’s creamy, it feels light on the skin, it has a very good coverage and stays in place all day. I’m excited for the new shades that they will be bringing in the summer!

For brows, Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil and Brush is the best for everyday use because it defines the brows and fills them in while it still keeps them looking natural. I love how precise and easy to use this pencil is and I can’t wait to stock up on more of it.

Mascara opens up the eye like nothing else, so for separated and fluttery lashes, I’d use something like Lancôme Hypnôse Volume-à-porter Mascara. I love the brush and the formula of this mascara, it doesn’t smudge or flake throughout the day, it’s clump-free and has an amazing staying power.

Finally, for my lips, I like to have something with a hint of tint but also moisturising and that’s when my beloved Dior Addict Lip Glow in 005 Lilac  comes. I adore this product, it keeps the lips soft and nourished and enhances the natural lip colour by reacting to the unique chemistry of your lips.

That’s my easy make-up done! What’s your 5 products face?

  1. Yes to Soap and Glory and yes to Dior Lip Glow! I am looking to try out the Bourjois CC cream at some point though. I tried Maybelline CC cream before and didn’t get on with it (it broke me out).

    1. It’s really difficult for me to find a base that doesn’t break me out. I’ve been a fan of this CC cream for a couple of years now and I just can’t seem to find a better drugstore alternative.
