New Shades of Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector | Spring 2016

When the first three shades of Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector were released, I wasn’t really curious about them, as I’ve never been a big lip gloss fan. Luckily, in the past few years, we can see amazing gloss formulas from many brands and when the second three shades were launched, I had to swatch them although they looked pretty similar to the original ones. My favourite shade was 06 Rosewood Shimmer and I dedicated a blog post to it, called The Best Lip Gloss. And it really is the best lip gloss, just that I always wished there were more vintage rose and berry shades added. Well, after a few years of waiting, they are finally here and I had to have them!

The new shades are 07 Toffee Pink Shimmer which is a beautiful dusky rose colour and 08 Plum Shimmer, a muted berry shade which looks too dark on the tube but it’s actually quite sheer, really wearable and pretty. For me, these are the best shades, so far, they are incredibly flattering on many skin tones and look simply gorgeous.

The formula is still the same lovely gel-like nourishing one enriched with Shea Butter and Mango and candy-flavoured. It’s non-sticky and makes your lips look fuller and smoother. The best is that you can wear these glosses on their own or on top of lip liner or lipstick, they’re also handbag-friendly.

I’m really happy that these shades were finally added to the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector family! What’s your favourite one?
