Empties #7

I’ve accumulated some empty bottles again and I decided to form two categories to share my thoughts on the products with you:

Face:
– Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for Sensitive Skin – I don’t know how many bottles of this micellar water I’ve gone through but I like it because I can find it even at the supermarket, it’s gentle to my skin and removes make-up really well;
– Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup Remover – Love this for taking off more stubborn mascara without burning my sensitive eyes;
– Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief – This was just a mini but I can say that the product absorbs quickly, it’s lightweight but hydrating;
Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturiser – I’ve done a full review here. It lasted me really long time, it’s a lovely light cream perfect for the mornings because it smells really fresh and wakes me up, it gives me the right amount of hydration and doesn’t break me out;
Alverde Lime & Apple Mattifying Day Cream – Another face moisturiser but this time much more affordable. It has quite an interesting texture, it’s runny but feels pretty thick on the skin. I liked it as a summer moisturiser but I don’t think it can hydrate my face in the winter that well. Contains Organic Lime Extract, Organic Apple Water andShea ButterIt’s also vegan;
– Mirins Copenhagen Facial Serum* – This serum is amazing! I’ve mentioned it many times because I always have it in my travel skincare bag, as it keeps me blemish-free when I’m away from home. I don’t know what exactly helps me so much but my skin tends to get very bad when I travel and this little bottle is a true saviour which I’m now missing a lot;
REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask – One more travel essential for me. It’s very mild but makes my skin smoother and more radiant, doesn’t irritate my face and has a lovely texture and smell;
Burt’s Bees Nourishing Mango Butter Lip Balm – I’ve shared with you before that this is my favourite Burt’s Bees lip balm. It smells amazing, makes my lips soft, it doesn’t take much space in my pocket or handbag and it’s 100% natural. Already got another one;
– Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 06 Rosewood Shimmer – I did a blog post on it here and I’m still in love with this product. I freaked out once when I thought I’d lost it but luckily, my boyfriend found it in his car. I really want to try the upcoming shades next year because they look lovely and this gloss isn’t only pretty but it’s also nouishing thanks to the Shea Butter and Wild Mango plus Vitamin E and A;
– Essence XXXL Nude Lipgloss in 06 Soft Almond – And another gloss that is much more affordable but still amazing. It’s not sticky, it doesn’t smell too sweet and it’s really comfortable to wear. Probably the only lipgloss I’ve used up so fast;
– Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara – I use this to set my eyebrows in place, it’s just an inexpensive clear brow gel and I already have another tube of it;
– Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara – I have mixed feelings. I like how fluttery this mascara makes my lashes look but it doesn’t give me much length and doesn’t hold the curl very well. I’m not sure what it is but I can’t seem to love bristle brushes, I like the mascara, just don’t love it;
Bourjois Healthy Balance Unifying Powder – Without a doubt my favourite face powder to set my make-up with. It mattifies the skin but doesn’t look flat, there is definitely a bit of a glow and it also adds coverage but it’s just so finely milled and gorgeous that I’m already using a new one of it. You can read my review here.

Body and Hair:

CLEAR Scalp Oil Control Shampoo with Citrus Essence – I didn’t like this shampoo, it was really heavy on my hair and made it look flat and lifeless;
Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo – That was a better one, it’s a clear gel, it feels very lightweight and makes my hair shiny and clean without being squeaky clean;
Almond Sensitive Skin Body Wash and Body Lotion* – Wonderful series for sensitive skin, you can read more about it here. These are definitely two of my favourite body care products for 2015;
– Balea Watermelon Shower Cream – Very fresh and sweet scent, lovely for the summer. Balea body washes are very affordable and always have interesting scents, so I quite like them;
– Balea What You Need Shower Gel – This one is from another line but is still very nice to use and it doesn’t dry out my skin;
– Oriflame Aloe Vera & Watermelon Shower Gel – I’ve used up so many body washes this summer and I haven’t even kept all the empty bottles! Another watermelon-scented shower gel which I quite like. The texture is very interesting, it’s a thicker gel and this product really reminds me of the great summer I had and I really miss it now;
Clarins Renew-Plus Body Serum – It’s just a tiny sample but this is such a gorgeous non-sticky body serum that makes my skin silky soft and smooth;
CD Pomegranate Fresh Deo – I used this as a summer body spray because it’s without aluminum, parabens and artificial colourants. The scent is not too overpowering, the mist is really fine and although the smell doesn’t last too long, I think it’s quite refreshing for the hot months;
Giorgio Armani – One of my favourite fragrances this year! I love the travel size and I really wish I had more because it’s very useful to have it in my handbag. This fragrance will forever remind me of Rome and my incredible summer, I know I’m repeating myself but I really wish I could have the summer of 2015 back;
– Bourjois Gentle Nail Enamel Remover – I got this with a nail polish purchase, it was a gift and I didn’t expect much. It’s not a bad one but I have a favourite nail polish remover that is still the best one for me and the only advantage of the Bourjois Nail Enamel Remover is probably the light fruity-vanilla scent that it leaves.

Have you tried any of these products?
