Bourjois La Laque Nail Enamel

DSC_0327r DSC_0333r DSC_0336rRecently, Bourjois released a new nail range called La Laque with 12 shades in it. Most of them are quite bright which isn’t unexpected knowing their products.

I was very surprised to see a white colour in the line. I’m not the biggest white nail polish fan but my curioisty prevailed and I picked the shade 1 White Spirit. There were 5 more shades left at the drugstore, so I decided to put in my shopping basket 4 Flambant Rose, as well.

The packaging of the nail varnishes is quite unusual and I love it. It’s pretty and unique. I, personally, don’t have a problem with the cap when I apply the product but it’s a matter of getting used to it. The brush picks up a big amount of product, so be careful with that, too.

The consistency is quite dense and the formula is extremely pigmented. Last Monday I posted a picture on Instagram wearing 1 White Spirit. I haven’t thought that there can be a white shade applying so smoothly and opaque with one coat. Of course, I needed a second one but it’s just because I’m not the best at applying nail polishes. There are no streaks and no sheerness.

I’m very sad that 4 Flambant Rose doesn’t seem so beautiful on pictures as in real life. It’s such a gorgeous pinky red shade perfect for the summer. If you have a Bourjois counter in the near, be sure to check it out.

These nail polishes last about 4 days on me which is a big surprise because usually, all the nail products stay about 2-3 days on my nails.

If you’re looking for an opaque nail colour that is super glossy and has great lasting power, take a look at these ones. I’m currently looking for two more shades – 2 Chair et Tendre which is a pale pink and 7 Lycheers which seems like a muted pink.
