Eyes and Lips – Two Liners from GOSH

Since I started spending more time in Norway, I wanted to try different products from Scandinavian beauty brands. I know about GOSH Cosmetics, based in Denmark, but never tried anything from them. It’s a shame because you can find their products in the drugstore and it isn’t very common for Scandinavian brands which tend to be more on the luxurious side. The price is a little bit higher than the typical one for drugstore products but the quality of what I tried is really good and the brand is cruelty free.

So, I finally got several items and two of them are the liners that I’m showing you today.
Since I don’t wear very much make-up on a daily basis, adding eyeshadows, bronzers and so on always makes me feel overdone. That’s why I prefer to keep it simple and I think you can’t go wrong with a bit of black eyeliner.
GOSH Kohl/Eye Liner in Black goes smoothly and feels almost creamy, it’s well pigmented and stays put for hours. I don’t apply black liner in my waterline, so I can’t say how this one performs but on the upper/lower lashline it looks amazing when it’s blended a bit with a smudging brush. It’s how a wear it for a subtle everyday look and I think this product is actually better than many expensive eye pencils. I might need to check out some of the other shades.

I never thought I’d like lipliners but I’ve been using them almost every day in the past half a year. I cringe every time when I remember how trendy it was to outline your lips with a pencil, two shades darker than your lipstick. That’s why I’ve been so scared of lipliners all these years. Luckily, now everything looks much better, more natural and the lip pencil shade matches the lipstick one.
The formula of GOSH Velvet Touch Waterproof Lipliner is free from mineral oils and perfume and is packed with Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil. 002 Antique Rose is a beautiful mauve shade and I use it all over the lips. I leave it like this for a matte look or top it with a lip balm or a matching lipstick if I want more shine to it. The texture is really soft but not so creamy. The product lasts very long time on the lips and the only negative is that they don’t have a bigger colour selection. If you’re looking for a dupe for the famous MAC Soar or if you just want a nice everyday lip pencil, give this one a try.

Have you tried these liners from GOSH?
