NUXE Rêve de Miel Anniversary Lip Balm

I know I’m late with this post but in my defence I have to say that the anniversary NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Balm didn’t launch in Norway at the same time as the official release happened. In fact, the three special edition lip balms are available here only as a part of Christmas gift sets, so I had to wait until now. But let’s move to the more important part.

To celebrate the 20th birthday of the famous lip balm Nuxe released three limited edition designs with three different colours of the lids – yellow, hot pink and green. The product itself is the same inside. It contains honey and precious oils (sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, rosehip oil) that nourish, repair and protect the lips. The formula is free from preservatives, artificial fragrance and mineral oils. The texture is quite thick and slightly grainy, feels really soothing and just a bit exfoliating on the lips. This lip balm smells amazing and it’s a wonderful overnight lip treatment. A thin layer of it is perfect under lipstick as well because it goes matte and just hydrates without being glossy or sticky.

The only downside for me is that it comes in a pot (I know that there is a stick version but it’s not the same) and that’s why I use it only at home and mainly before going to bed.

As a person that loves lip balms, I can say that NUXE Rêve de Miel is one of my favourites. Great product and with this cute new packaging is just a wonderful Christmas present. Treat yourself with this lovely lip balm!
